Group, mounted on bar for wear – CMG, MVO, DSO, IGSM 1895 (Punjab Frontier 1897-8, Malakand 1897, Tirah 1897-8), Queen’s South Africa Medal ( Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, 01, 02 clasps ), 1914 Star (with clasp) trio and MID emblem.

London Gazette entry: Relinquishing Command – LG 19th June 1919. Brigadier General RA relinquish temp rank of Brig-Gen – Lt-Col F.A. Twiss, CMG, DSO, MVO, RA 21st Apr 1919.
Further, numerous London Gazette entries chart his career and medal rolls confirm the individual campaign medals, such as 01/02/1917 pp 213 MID, 01/01/1917 D.S.O.
The IGSM (Malakand) medal roll for the No 8 Bengal Mountain Battery (Punjab Command). The medal roll for H Company PWO Norfolk Artillery confirms the QSA (3 clasps).
Rear of DSO suspender bar stamped 18CT, gold. The IGSM and QSA are of the non-fixed, swivel type.
