Romanian Order of Carol Great War medal group to Arthur William Lawrence, Royal Artillery.
Announced in a London Gazette issue dedicated to Decorations Conferred by His Majesty the King of Roumania, 20th September 1919. There were 162 3rd Class Orders awarded of which only 9 were issued to the Royal Garrison Artillery.

Lawrence, of Dorian Villas, Sunbury Common, was a 37 year old Solicitors Clerk when he attested December 1915. He served in 206 Siege Battery, 144 Siege Battery to Heavy Battery Trench Mortar ,latterly to remain attached VIII Corps HA, HQ. He was demobilised January 1919.
