Cheshire Regiment and Special Constabulary Medal to Henry Robinson. He entered France 23rd September 1915 with 11th Battalion and was demobilised 12th February 1919. The 11th Cheshires would have seen action at Vimy Ridge (1915), Thiepval, Barentin, Pozieres, Ancre Heights, Messines. He would later have been reduced in rank to Private. Medal pair roll confirms he was attached 75th Infantry Brigade headquarters.
Wartime Electoral Register 1919 confirms that 29 year old Henry Robinson, 11th Cheshire Regiment, lived at 710 Union Street , Bedford.
