Anglo Boer War Queen’s South Africa medal with 2 clasps to 41981 Private George Henry Winchester, 1st Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment.
Peter Martin enlisted at Chichester, West Sussex, in July 1885 . He was an 18 year old labourer, born Rye, East Sussex, at this time.
He served in South Africa February 1900 to July 1900. He served a total of 16 years with the colours.
