Great War medal pair to William Henry Ewart, born 1899, who was from Chatham Street, New Kent, Road, East London. He was wounded in action 23rd September 1916.
He later served (T208053 & 6078827) The Queens in the Eastern Theatre.
WOUNDED 3 times – 14th September 1916 – Gunshot wound right shoulder, 29th September October 1918 – Gas Shell, 7th November 1918 – Gunshot Wound. He was admitted to hospital 22nd November 1918 with Gunshot Wound to Right buttock and released 13th December 1918.
