Superb group of 3 medals comprising the Afghanistan Medal with Kandahar clasp with an 1882 Egypt Medal and Khedive’s Star group of 3 medals to 1316 Private Henry Turner of the 66th Foot, Royal Berkshire Regiment.
The 66th Foot, The Berkshire Regiment, famously took part in the disastrous battle at Maiwand where it suffered the catastrophic loss 10 Officers 364 Other Ranks.
