The Great War medal trio to Henry Hathaway, 3rd Battalion, Grenadier Guards.
Henry William Hathaway entered France 20th October 1915. He was from Lichfield Cottage, Enstone, Oxfordshire a was a 19 year old labourer when he attested. He served in the B.E.F. France for 3 periods during he war.
He was wounded in the right ankle by Gun Shot Wound 17th September 1916 and later suffered a Gun Shot Wound to the abdomen. He was further wounded by gas in September 1918.
