Thomas Walter Biddle was born in St Mary’s Parish, Warwick and he was 18 years of age when he attested into the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in 1892. He served in excess of 12 years and saw service in Ceylon, Egypt and the East Indies as well as several periods at home. His papers confirm his award of the Queen’s Sudan Medal and The Egyptian Khedive’s Medal.
