York and Lancaster Regiment 1915 Casualty Medal Group. Private 12906 George Hargreaves 1st Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment died, aged 31 years, on April 23rd 1915.
Born in Pontefract, Yorkshire to William and Sarah Hargreaves, he enlisted 2nd September 1914 for 3 years and he entered France 7th March 1915.
Killed in Action 23rd April 1915 and he is Remembered with Honour at the Ypres, Menin Gate Memorial.
